Why reading is important
Have you picked up a “good” book, delicious? I remember very well that I read a lot as a young girl. When I got back to the library I looked for the most attractive title on the book. Then I read the back of the book: The abstract of the book. When I was at home I would sit next to the house and read until it was almost late.
I imagined myself and I saw the story happen. Sometimes I got tears in my eyes and then again I thought it was unfair…. All those characters. Reading is very important, because you can see how the characters behave in a situation. You will find out how they solve problems.
Reading increases vocabulary
By reading you prepare your vocabulary, it also goes beyond reading for fun. Just think of an editorial sum, you have to read and understand well to solve the problem.
Encourage your child or a teenager to read. Whoever reads learns the world. It is a clear difference in the life of the child and young person when they do or do not read. Reading is very important for learning and really for learning at school. A person who understands well-read narrative informative texts gains knowledge and can develop, it is not just about knowledge. Reading stories and poems help children and young people to empathize better. They are then able to understand others better, so that they can adapt better in society.
It has also been proven that children who read more improve their language because they expand their vocabulary.
Reading has a positive effect on vocabulary, spelling, reading and writing comprehension. Reading is indispensable for the development of the child.
